This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Chalkworthy. Thank you for supporting our blog and helping up keep these projects going!
Believe me when I say that I only work with, and talk about products that I love and use … and this Chalkworthy line is just amazing. I have had quite a few people email me in the past weeks with different questions regarding this paint line and I just wanted to tell you all a bit more about it!
Have an itch to refinish a piece of furniture you have? Start small – The best part of this paint line is that you can utilize it for SO many different pieces big and small. These two mirrors above our piano were a last minute purchase because they were cheap, dirt cheap. After they were hung, the dislike towards the color grew and grew, until I decided to take matters into my own hands.
#1 A little bit goes a long way! I was thrilled to see how little of the paint itself was needed to achieve complete coverage on a piece. After painting my planters (3x) and these mirrors (3x) I still have 1/2 of the can left to use! I am a huge fan of following their step of watering down the paint a bit, so I pour what I think I will need into a separate pan, mix in a few tablespoons of water at a time, until it reaches the consistency I desire.
#2 This paint goes on so creamy, so rich you find yourself moving so quickly through your projects. Back in the day, prior to me using Chalkworthy I cannot tell you how many times I would have to go over and over a piece because with each swipe of the paint brush some would wipe away. No sanding, no priming, simply stroke the paint on and be amazed at the coverage and quality!
Our entry way is one of my favorite spots of our house (minus the orange tile, we’ll get there someday) The numbers on the stairs, and the wood work just makes me grin. This table + mirror just was not sitting well with my decorating soul. Things needed to be switched up a bit, and so I turned to my everlasting can of Chalkworthy to pull me through.
While I like the lighter, more feminine look of the other set up, it just did not float well through the different seasons. So, a few coats of the Cast Iron Chalkworthy paint and I had a brand new table in one afternoon!
#3 This paint sticks + dries so quickly! Listen, be your own judge. I’m not tell you to paint something and go swiping your finger at it in 20 minutes, I’m not crazy. But, in comparison to regular paint – this Chalkworthy paint not only applies 100x better, but the finish feels so solid. Which, as a mother, I am all over!
I recommend Chalkworthy to anyone and everyone, I could chat your ear off about this paint line all day everyday… These two projects just go to show that you can paint anything, big or small, old or new. If you find a piece on clearance you love but dislike the color, do not fear, Chalkworthy is here!
Check out all of their colors they have to offer! And make sure to always send me your before and after pictures of what you completed!
