Nothing beats sitting on the front steps with the boys after a long day of no napping. We wait in anticipation for the big man on campus (Dad) to turn to corner and pull into the drive. The kids are thrilled that they get to look at someone else’s face besides their moms all day long. And I could just leap on my man for gratefulness of an extra hand.
Prior to painting the house + re doing the front door entrance, taking pictures of the kids in their favorite spot wasn’t anything worth showing. I would always try to zoom in, and cut out all the grossness that lurked behind them in the picture. What a gallon (or 11) of paint can do, because that has all changed. The other evening, I could not get enough of these cute boys on these steps. Now our time spent on the stairs will be well worth sharing pictures of to family via text! And since I do not have all my readers cell phone numbers, why not share the love and show off these exhausting amazing kids we get to call our own!

If I would have known that our usual evening on the front steps would have turned into such a cute “photo shoot” I probably wouldn’t have had them dressed in such random articles of clothing. Oh well, that’s just us keepin’ it real for ya 🙂
